So as I’ve said before, I’m a newbie. I’d say I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately, only digging pull tabs or bottle caps. Finally something interesting although not very old. I’m guessing early 70’s Cal-Customs gas pedal. No idea how it got so deep since it’s not THAT old. Then this morning I hit a local elementary school and found this small silver locket.

Depending on the size and how it's fastened, they made one for the floor headlight dimmer switch too.

correct sir! This one is a gas pedal for sure, it’s got the four holes on the back to strap it to the factory one.
 

Yup, that sounds like the accelerator pedal type. The dimmer switch one had a round pocket that the head of the dimmer switch fit inside and a set screw to lock it on.
