A Good Day and Some Coke Points

Hunted a NH beach suggested by another T'Net member and here's what I found! $1.17 in clad, a fishing weight, the base of a padlock, 2 whatsits, and some Coke points. Does anyone else collect these? They're redeemable for valuable prizes!

The clad was found in a sandy area near a newspaper vending box. It was like shooting fish in a barrel!

Yeah,

I collect My Coke Reward caps and box lids too. I'm at a university, so I can go through the recycle bins on weekends. 12 caps will get you a free rental from Blockbuster. Each is worth about $0.10-$0.15 if you get the gift cards (very limited selection though).

Funny, I was going to post something about those caps on the "Would you pick up a penny" post in the general discussion.

Hey Sheldius,

I can't imagine how many points you've amassed being at a University! I've been saving on my own and having some friends kick in points as well. I think I'm up over 1000 now.

I went to a Red Sox game last saw what must have been thousands of discarded points after the game. The urge to offer my help cleaning up was overwhelming, but for the sake of my friends I resisted!
