I went on a marathon detecting trip with fellow Dayton Diggers members Manny and Doug. We spent the hole day at an old park. I scored first silver with a nice 1928-S Standing Liberty Quarter, Doug scored best silver find with a 1927-S Walking Liberty Half and Manny scored most important silver find......his first, a 1944 merc! Doug found 135 total coins and I got 125. Twenty five of mine were wheats, 4 mercs including a heart stopping 1916...................S, a 1925 buffalo, and a Japanese 5 yen. Doug had 7 silvers, a couple V's and a couple buffalos. It was a great day with a couple great guys.
