A good day in northern Illinois

44 degrees today. Great weather for treasure hunting. Went to an 1800s farmstead site I have hunted many times. Went back about a block further from the road and found these indian heads. Made my day.

Any day you find a Indian Cent is a good day in my book - congrats !

I've had good luck straightening out plenty of bent coins like your Indian.
Just put the coin between two pieces of hardwood - put in a Vise and crank it down really hard.
