A few of us hit some city lots in a older section of town on Saturday, kinda slow to start with but by end of the day it was worth the sweat. Not a lot of coins, think the area had been gone over some years ago with older detectors. Thank you Garrett for the good stuff. Jblack, Jameyjg01 and Slad, I would say a very good day in the dirt. Let do it again soon.

The only ring that is gold is the small one, the others are H.G.E. - heavy gold electro-plated. But cool to me.

Even though both of mine ended up being electroplated, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. What an amazing first time out for me with this group that I just found out about last week!! Actually, this was really only my first or second time out detecting, not counting detecting at my house and my parents' house! Unbelievable day! What a blast; I'm hooked!
