Hello Everyone,

Today in Massachusetts the weather was great, sunny, little wind and around 54 degrees; perfect for a late fall hunt. So off to a newer permission at 8:00 AM to try to end the season strong. After 8 hours of hunting (no lunch; old man winter is coming) some nice finds found my coil. I found a bit of everything: 1908 O Barber Quarter & 1943 D Mercury dime silver coins, toasted wheat cents, sterling salt shaker lid, 1865 IH cent, religious medals, musket ball, flat button, buckles, other relics. The iron was flowing with the only keepers being an old axe head and horseshoe. A toasted token/coin was found with a 1 on the front with some writing and the number 6 stamped on the reverse; old copper material.

Thank you for looking.

Great finds Professor, and good luck tomorrow morning! I’m hoping for one more good find this year as well!

You did have a great day! Congratulations

Great collection of finds Doc! And I give you credit...you made the best of a beautiful day here in Mass. Old Man Winter is coming, and I'm afraid are days of detecting are going to come to a screeching halt sometime soon. Nicely done!

That is a great day indeed. Glad you got a nice day for digging. It’s been wet here and now it looks like we are gonna get some snow. I’m gonna have to lay out if I’m doing any digging this week.

Definitely a great day! Nice Barber Quarter. Congrats!

A very great assortment of finds.

Great finds! Bet you enjoyed the hunt.
