I've been researching an 1840's resort and tracked down the current owner about a hour from my house. Unfortunately, she said she doesn't allow people to metal detect, so I did some door knocking at the neighbors.

Got permission at a 1939 home. It started to rain after the first hour but otherwise it turned out to be a great day! I found my first standing liberty quarter! Tallied 6 silvers, 7 wheats, and a button - Thanks for looking!

Well done on the slq. Got my first this year as well. Great digs. Congrats.
