A Hafted Knife?

I found this piece this morning at the low tide line on a tidal river below a fort. There would have been natives in this area for centuries. It looks like a hafted knife but I can't determine if it has actually been worked. I'm not a novice to native artifact collecting and have found 100s of points, scrapers, knives, axes, etc but this one has me stumped. It has a uniform thickness and well defined edge which I tried to capture in the photos. I think I am stumped because it may have been subjected to some pretty harsh tidal conditions which may have dulled the telltale signs of knapping. Input?

I also found this pretty agate which may or may not have been worked.

The first piece is defintely a possibility. The second piece is without a doubt a artifact. My question to you is where are you located. They look older than native american artifacts...................GTP

Admitted, I didn't even think about the tides, and this piece could have seen literaly a million of them, which would certainly dull the piece.

I had another look at the piece, and my logic computer is telling me that the "dimples" on the flat sides are somewhat conchoidal in shape, that is at least some evidence. Now if the rock is hardness 7, I'd say we (you) have a positive ID.

I would say the agate was a controlled fracture not sure about the others. The tide can be tough.
You will need to go with your instincts on the others Good eye ball finds
