A Lady , 2 bald headed guys, 7 JFK's, Ramblings
Stumbled upon a downtown branch I had never come across. Got 10 rolls of brinks halves to try out. Started to drive home , opened the very first roll and out popped a walker. Made a quick U turn and got the last 200 out of the box. Out of 300 $ total halves I pulled
1- 1945 walker
1- 1952 ben
1- 1954 ben
7-1964 JFK's
Kept thinking those silver rims would be only be 40 % but luckily the 64's kept coming. Not a 40% in the bunch.
The teller was very nice . She said she had a lot more halves if I wanted them. I was out of time and funds, so I will try to get back to those other halves ASAP.
Went to my regular branch and picked up a remaining 360 $ out of a 500$ brinks box. Skunkerooski.
I had ordered a box ,but she told me she only orders 1 box at a time. She said first one to the box gets it.She cannot order one just for me personally. First come ,first served. Different ,but I'll work that situation the best I can.
I was chatting with the male teller that always changes out the bags on the counter at my main dump bank.I asked how many other customers dump large quantities such as myself. He told me there was only one other guy that comes in every couple weeks as I do. So it seems like I don't have much competition hopefully. This counter is the only free counter within a 10 mile radius, so if there were Crh's, I figured they would be using it .There are free counters at a different bank about 20 miles away ,but they are the smaller counters that are a lot slower. Takes awhile but I try to scatter dumps as much as possible. Sometimes when I have time I will even reroll to take a load off my dump banks.
Dimes- I have done about 6 boxes of clear wrapped dimes from different banks. Never found a single dime. Gave up and only do CWR's. I do a lot better with cwr's. Average about a dime every 150 $.This is only at a certain credit union that I have found. Plus the counters always count some dimes as pennies, another reason I don't like dumping dimes.
Well , enough ramblings of a demented coin roll hunter . Later HH
