Got out for a couple hours not much to find managed a 1851 largie either made into a whizzer or a button. Holes are very close togeather also got a scale weight 1/4oz. 7g. Like to know what it was used for 20170318_183235.webp

what you have is a coin scale weight/balance scale late 1700's to early 1800's
the weight would be for a 1 reale
the one reale was 5 to 7 grams depending on were it was minted
