Hunted an 1880s yard today the owner said a guy had hunted it in the past but did not think he found much. I walked from the back to the front f the side yard put on headphones turned on machine and ring a solid 44 really must be something wrong moved coil it stayed 44 pin pointed a sure enough 5 to 6 inches was a 1898 Barber quarter. all downhill from there, clad galore a silver rosie and I got cheesed chucky cheese that is

Nice barber quarter save, can't ever find too many of those !! :occasion14:

Great save on that barber quarter and Rosie!!

I only ever found one barber quarter and it was one of my first ever silvers. Congrats on a Sweet hunt!!
 

I literally walked the length of the yard and set the coil on top of it before turning the machine on it was crazy. Almost like my old hunting partner guided me to it
