A little British action on the stateside WWII tent site field

I got about $4.00 in clad eight or nine Wheaties that I havent cleaned yet I have cleaned my 4 keepers on the evening hunt. The Devonshire Regiment button front was my first Interesting find , Two passes later I pick up the " Bombs " On The Way Pin ! I did a quick google and did not come up with a match so I have a little more research to do on this pin . I finally managed to pick up a 43 merc on the next pass . It quited down a little except on clad when I got deep 0 FE. 20 con. hit that I was sure was a big silver ! Nope , It was a 192? George V Half Penny . It looks as if the British were helping the recruits to get ready to be " ON OUR WAY " Thanks for looking and happy hunting ! MaineRelic

Nice pin! It's WW2, 152cd Field Artillery. Those guys were tough as nails and saw some heavy fighting in the Pacific!
