A Little Colonial, Civil War & a Chicken Eagle

I had a good time this weekend, loving the cooler weather! I managed to save a little bit of history. This is actually the first post War "chicken eagle" button I've found. I've have plenty of Civil War eagles & WW1 buttons. Im curious on the one brass piece. I was told drawer pull but have found no proof. A lot of the fields still have crops in them & deer season is here so makes things a little tough.
