My wife bought this little bowl thingy at a yard sale yesterday:

It is small. It weighs only 3.4 ounces. What would you call this? A fingerbowl maybe? It has markings on the underside but I don't find anything that clearly IDs it as pure silver. It is not magnetic so there is no ferrous base metal.

Does anybody recognize the hallmark? And what does the "SN" mean?
 

SN = silver nickel, would be my guess. And, that ain't silver, sorry to say.

Hard to make out the mark since I can't zoom in. Is it WMF? See the mark 7th from the top.

Well done, L&F! It is indeed WMF. With high magnification and viewed with just the right lighting and from the proper angle, the hallmark is clearly this one:

For the life of me I can't seem to get a clear photo of it, though. It is a tiny mark in an awkward spot.

Would you call this a fingerbowl? A candy dish?
