Pretty slim pickings out there. I pulled several trash targets of copper and brass that rang up like dimes and quarters, but it just wasn't meant to be this day. I did scratch out a 1928-s wheat cent, an old pocket knife, a little ornate iron buckle, a suspenders thingy, buttons, snaps and a very odd looking thing that resembles a skeleton key. I'll post that on the What'sit forum also.

This dump was capped well with rock and gravel so there's very little that's accessible. I ordered the new Nokta Accupoint pinpointer with iron discrimination, so I'll try that out on some of the tailing piles left by the bottle diggers once it arrives. I have my doubts, but we'll see.
