Hey again all! Got out to the Berg again for a while a few days ago. Nabbed 25 wheats, and the decent 1903 IH and 1935 buffalo from the wheatfield (and the marble, which is a cool one). Concentrated on one small area for an hour and dug every single signal. That's how the IH turned up. Sounded like a pulltab for some reason, but was only 1-2 inches.

Then today's hunt was back at the site where I found the bust half dime last weekend. Found another 1903 IH and then a 1938 merc and a few wheats when some people started showing up and I wanted to share the field so I only detected that area for about 45 mins tops. Pillaged a little clad near the fringes but doesn't seem like anything old would turn up there. There's plenty still there though.

Thanks, this place has produced an entire jar full of old marbles for us. The reason we can find so many is cause we're able to dig some pit-like holes and move the dirt around a lot.

I found a beautiful golden brown marble while I was out hunting the other day... got it home and not its been misplaced! LOL guess it wanted to stay lost!

Congrats on the keepers, wow that's alot of wheats ! Marbles are always cool to find, our eyes will lock right on to them when hunting, good job !

So you lost your marble? Uh oh. ;D Maybe it'll turn up unexpectedly later though.

Thanks, that's the wheatfield for you. Thousands of wheats, less than 5 silver for me. :dontknow: Never know what else though. :icon_sunny:

:icon_thumleft: Congrats! :icon_thumright:
Looks like you also dug up a tourmaline or green zirconium. (?)
