I managed to make it back on the falling/low tide at the beach I’ve been hunting recently. Sadly a layer of sand has been deposited by the tides, making targets fewer and farther between. Even the clad coins were unusually deep. I did manage to scrape out a few good items though.
Only one wheat penny (1956)
A 1951 Franklin Half Dollar
A 1958 Roosevelt Dime
And a silver St. Christopher medallion marked “Reed Sterling” on the back and “Gantner” on the front (possibly the designer?)
I haven’t heard of Reed Sterling before, so any input on that would be appreciated.
Thanks, as always! May your next hunt bring you joy!
