Got a chance to get out for a few hours this morning, with B|lker, and a new guy who goes by the name of Silverman (hopefully we'll start hearing from him on this forum. This guy has found some silver.

Anyway, he left, before I had a chance to get a picture of his "stuff"...but here's a picture of

B|lkers stuff:

Ha, ha, ha. LMAO Bob. ;D ;D ;D Now that was funny. ;D
Bill's justs waiting to hit the silver quarters is all. He aint messing with the small stuff.
Right, Bill? ;)

Great job both of you. Did you hit DD again?
Congrats,
MM

You're right, Doug. He's going to start popping quarters any day now.

Thought we'd give DD a break today. The last time I dropped by there, I didn't find a single coin.

Do you think it's possible that we cleaned it out?

I had a great time, my screw driver didn`t get put away for more than 15 seconds at a time.

Thanks all for oogling. (SP)

I told Bob i smelled silver there.

Thanks silverman for the great ghost town/ battlefield info.

And yes Doug I was hoping for the big stuff.

The large mold found@8inches down turned out to be a 1966 hasbro product, if i remember correctly for making your own scarry jewelry.

Almost forgot, todays total with the oldest coin being a 1950 Wheaty was $4.67

Bob your added gifs are making me chuckle every time i see a new one.

Bob,
Anything on that tag in the bottom left of the first picture?

That's actually Bill's find. I looked at it because it reminded me of one of my old dog tags from my Navy days. Turned out that's not what it was.

Bill, what's on the tag?

The molds are from the 60's. I had one of these, called a Mattel Thingmaker. Surprising that kids got these, as they got HOT as hell, when making things.

They were fun to make, I was 8 at the time! Just dated my self, lol.

Great pics, thanks for sharing them. :)

Nice finds there...how I wish I had stayed down south >:( Living up North, I will have to wait till all the snow melts before I can do anything. I use to live in Fayetteville, NC and I know I would have found some interesting things there.
