I spent most of the day Sat. out battling the bugs hitting some old home sites in the woods. I only found one coin (the wheat 1914 I think) and a couple what's its? The brass looking thing is part of an old watch I think. I didn't find my first silver of the year til Sunday when I was working. I closed the pharmacy and had to run to the bathroom. On my way by I happened to look in the coinstar reject bin and there was 3 coins. Two silver rosie's and a 1977 canadian dime. Pretty bad when I find my first silver of the year at work. Any idea on the item in the top right?

The "what's it" looks like a sink faucet fitting of some type. There a lot of knowledgable people here so they may be able to correct me.

1914 is a key date. Better be checking it out carefully. 1914D is worth some cash :o

Yeah, pretty sure that 14 isn't a D or S. I'm not 100% sure it is a 14 anyway. I tried 3 batches of qtips and hot peroxide and now it is sitting in a potato.

That my friend looks like a fence wire thingy but way bigger than what Ive seen. Maybe power poll.
What I'm saying is that they used to like wrap wire around it to make it tight for fencing.

Ahhh...Gotta love those Coinstar Machines. ;D a Hunt is Still a Hunt. Congrats

What VDI did the coinstar give and did you have trouble pinpointing it? :icon_scratch:
