A Little Silver Last Night With Smittyman

I went out after work last night with Smittyman, of TNet fame. We went to a local school yard for a little hunt. It was nice, cool outside, not too many skeeters, and the grass was freshly cut.

I spent my time diligently searching for buried treasure, and was rewarded with a little bit of clad... and a '52 Rosie.

Smittyman however spent his time conducting a treasure hunting demo for the "playground posse" and was rewarded with a headache! Sorry Smittyman, I just could not resist snapping a couple of pics of you and your lil crew.

done that, been there... but they are so inquisitive! these kids never forget that you are the guy with the detector. maybe they thought he was santa claus. but at least you found a silver!

Cjon... take Old Dude with you, when the kids ask if you are finding anything, just tell that you are not, but that guy over there, the one with the free candy, is finding all sorts of treasure.

As you can see, it works well for me.

I cannot believe you had your kids pester Smittyman like that!!! That's dirty pool. Nice to see you back on the silver wagon. Great looking Roosevelt dime. Although quite a bit tougher to find then a mercury dime, I still prefer the mercs solely because they're so pretty. Congratulations on your Rosie!!

Thanks Jay. I have to do whatever I can to keep Smittyman down. It worked too. He didn't get a silver last night!

Hey, he already tells me to stay in the car, lol. Don't be giving him more ideas! When I go to the parks, I always seem to attract the little future detectorists too. That's why I only go when school is in season now, lol.
