Can't believe how dry the ground is already this year. We need some rain here in Upstate NY. After 29 years of detecting the same old city parks, silver finds are few and far between. Both Tony (Park Pirate) and I were able to squeeze a couple more from the bone dry earth. I hit for a gorgeous 1917 mercury dime while Tony managed a nice 1928 mercury dime.

Congrats on your 1917 Merc dime - the area I live in along the Texas Gulf Coast is starting to get dry but rain is coming anyway thank you for sharing your pictures of your fantastic Merc & story & I wish you many more grat finds while out dirt fishing.
