My 7 year old daughter Grace and I went on her first real diggin adventure. We went to her school where it is loaded with play equipment and sand. I gave her some pointers and pow her first find. A clad quarter. A little later came find #2 was she excited when the coins just kept coming out of the sand! the #2 dig was 10 clad coins. 1- Q, 4-D, and 5-N. We grabbed several more coins, I got a cheap toe ring and some trash. I may have got more coins, but she beat me in dollar amount! I will put this in my memory bank of most memorable hunts! :)

Hey Mike,

I haven't talk to you in a long time. Hope you and the family are doing well. Boy your kids are growning up. Mine is graduating from high school next month and my son is going to be a junior in high school. I've seen many of your post and it looks like you are doing well. I have not been able to get out much in the past few years do to my job and the promotion I got. THis year looks different and I hope to get out more. I am going in for surgery in July and will be off of work for a couple weeks, but I hope that won't prevent me from detecting. One of these days Im going to email you so we can finally meet and detect. You take care of yourself.

Your Friend,

Looks like you had a great hunt!
That scoop looks like a useful tool, I don't hunt tot lots much, but when I do, I sometimes have a laughably hard time

finding my target in the sand.

Good luck,
HH.
