Found myself in a part of town I don't normally get to, so I pulled out my trusty city map and sure enough there was a county park nearby. It was a most unusual hunt in that I pulled 35 cents out of the chips and finally my last two finds were a quarter and 2 wheels from a combination lock. The cents were mostly with 1.5" of the top and the quarter was 5" deep. So I figure that whoever works this park must have his MD set to ignore cents.

After a couple more errands I went to another park in that area. only 3 cents, but 4 quarters, 2 dimes, 4 nickels and a Canadian $. The Canadian $ is a first for me :o

Great day. I went on a 5 hour hunt yesterday and only found 12 coins.....I was bummed. Then today I went out for 2 hours and found 32 coins. It's all luck of the coil placement.

Maps are so handy to keep with you and thats surely a nice pocket full of change you came back with. We need bumper stickers that state, "Beware, driver makes frequent stops to dig"

Nice finds, lots of pennies !!! WTG ! :)

Hey Storm, at least we were able to get out the last couple of days. Now it looks like our rain is here, so it's time to break out the rain suit and rubber boots to slog through the muck :)
