I love the lugs, the contours, etched designs and all it's features. By the way it's made, it wouldn't slosh it's contents out so easily if it were holding liquid. I also love the circular saw blade motif in the etchings! Seriously, it looks like something in motion, spinning. A very desirable piece. BTW, did the lugs serve a purpose or are they ornamental.

They would be a way to hold the bowl an not drop it is my guess. I've seen a lot of Caddo pottery with these lugs.
