This item dug up is a weird find. Not sure what to think of it. All I know is that it is non-magnetic and looks like Silver, but it's big and says the first Buffalo Nickel 1913. Any suggestions? I'm only wondering what it really is and if it's a good find.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear it was a Buffalo Nickel

Looks like an ashtray without the slots, dunno, maybe a commemorative change cup? Just found it on Craigslist, they say it is a coin holder put out by Avon...I win :). Buffalo Nickel Coin Holder

I am not sure. Could it be a cheese knife?

Nice finds! Thanks for sharing...

I guess my next ? Is it a good find or nothing important?

The serving knife is a decent quality and a great find, made by the rogers bros. Unfortunately it is not sterling and is marked AI, meaning electroplated.
