Most of these finds were recovered from an old park near me. 2 silver dimes, 1935 and 1950, old 45-70 black powder rifle cartridge made at the Frankford Arsenal in Jan 1882,2 hem weights, one is a little different style hem weight with 2 holes. Lieutenant bar, thimble, 4 old wheat pennies the oldest is a bad shape 1917s, an old Tootsietoy truck, a junk ring, and a golden token that stopped the heart when all I saw in the hole was mud covered gold colored coin with an eagle and stars. A lot of fun. Thanks for looking and good luck. Congrats on all the nice finds, that truck is cool. I have yet to find any old toy cars but then again I’m a beach hunter. I just got my digging tool in the mail so I might start hitting some parks. Good luck on the next one.

Digging in the soil is a little harder than the sand, but I do hit the beaches when I am near one. The old Tootsietoys were well made die cast toys, not like todays junk.

You call that a pounded parl lol well done My friend great post

This park has been there a long time, Tommy. Since the late 1800's and before that there was an old homestead in the same location. Thanks Tommy.

It maybe a well pounded park but you’re still finding some keepers. I don’t think it’s done yet. I’d try it again. Congrats

Very Nice...Love the Dime!

Very nice finds. With an outing like that at a pounded park, I think I'd keep going back for awhile.

Very nice! Those old parks always got more to give!
