"a penny short of the 67th battalion's history [1911]"
Hi all,The hot weather here is starting too me make slow down a bit, so i decided to hit some easy ground in the shade. This afternoon i went to the old drill hall for the local 67th battalion. These structure still stands to this day and the back part was removed about 20 years ago.The footings are still visable in the pics.P.D.K i.ded this shoulder badge last for me last week {67th Bendigo Battalion} and during the week i gathered up some pics and info about the battalion in that area.I didn,t find much except this 1911 Australian penny [first issue].I found on the inside from footings under some large trees at the rear of the site.Aslo got pic of the site in 1972,now and of the men in 1913.
