Got the chance to hunt with Jeff again today at his new site.....WOW.....what a day!!
I found three firsts for me today which I never expected. Jeff and I hit it pretty hard and Jeff even found time to conduct a class.....LOL....at one point I looked down from the sidehill I was working and saw Jeff with a woman and about five or six kids gathered around him.......that guy is always teaching somebody something about metal detecting....LOL!!!
Anyway, better get to the point.....my three firsts today were a buffalo nickel and I actually found two one was a 1935 the other hasn't shown me the date yet, a 1947 Franc and a 1903 British copper penny.
In addition to my firsts I also found a 1926 Mercury Dime, a 1948 Rosie, 15 wheaties ranging in date from 1930 to 1953, two clad quarters, one clad dime and seven memorial pennies. I also found a Schuylkill County Centennial pin dated 1811-1911.
All in all it was the hardest hunting I ever did (that sidehill had about a 60 degree slope to it) and the most productive "older" coin day I ever had.
Thanks for looking!! HH All!
