How old is the clamp. This was near an old homesite on the place. Plus a single row bottom plow mule drawn. Is there a market for old carbon steel?

Congrats on your finds. I scrap all my junk steel copper aluminum and brass.

Sorry... but I think what you may have found is a "pedal" ... Gas... brake... clutch.

IMO... of course.

Coach steps were generally round or square.

But what do I know. :)

Could be, we pulled up the flat seat springs and bottom from a buggy.
It shaped to facilitate a foot but I have no clue what it fit.

Mudstone buffalo? Worked Alibates. Copper lid to glass Talcolette shaving jar and a fleur de lis hinge round out the take
