Hello All,
While going though a junk bag of jewelry related odds and ends from a local Goodwill, I ran across two pins.
They turned out to be 6th Issue pins for Eastern Airlines. One is a hat button and the other is a set of aviator wings.
They are made by Balfour, stamped 1/10 10K, and have porcelain faces.
Nice thing is I just saw one sell for $295 on a commercial site and I am thinking I will be able to turn at least $525 if I sell
them on the Bay. The piece that has not sold is here:
Flying Tiger Antiques Online Store: Scarce 1960s Eastern Air Lines Flight Attendant Wing (6th Issue)
Also, as a nice bonus, the bag turned out around 1.38 troy ounces of Sterling silver pieces.
