A short clad hunt brings a surprise

No pics, you all know what this all looks like. Our county fair ended last night and I headed up early to pick some clad. Took a screwdriver to probe but mostly just picking it out of the grass. Had a pretty good mess of clad in the pouch, but the first dime I picked up....1964. A nice little surprise.

Funny you said that, because a few weeks ago I went out on a hunt at a park and found nothing but clad. The next day I was working and as I got out of my car I saw a nickel on the ground, picked it up and there was a 1964 beauty. Sometimes life smiles at you

Yep. Forget the name of this ride, but it sets the same place every year, and I remember riding it when I was a teenager and hearing all of the change raining down when the cage flipped over. Not to much change spent at the fair anymore, almost everything I find is right under that ride. But yes, this dime was just setting there on top of the ground.
