I got another hunt in between the rains at the wooded site where I found what I think is a nice Victorian Calling Card Case. There is a lot of ground to cover so I sampled another area.

Today’s prize is a SHRADE knife (it still works) and a 1956 Wheat Cent. The clam shell fragments might be from Indians that inhabited the area or later picnickers.

I then went out again later and found 2 more knives, a 1925 Wheat Cent and a fragment from a locally made bottle. I found a ¾ inch diameter pewter disc with a seam on the back and a possible attachment point for a shank. Might it have been a button or just part of a knob of sorts?

Thanks for Looking.
Nick
