Isn’t it an amazing how the tips of artifacts get that redish color from heat treatment or red ochre or just usage.

Yes diving for Mel Fisher diving on the Santa Margarita...Several of us, found micelaeous stuff, plus two ice chests full of Silver coins, captain was under contract to Mel, several divers wer aboard...We had armed guards, other boats got too close, that was enough of that crap for me, I’ll stick to arrowheads any day,Lol...( true story )..We all got a pick of a coin...Fisher owned em of course.I heard the next week the hit the gold chains, ..It’s known as the gold chain wreck.

No sir, traded along with some bottles. as was with a lot of my different stuff back then, I was not a collector of that type of stuff, but still got the memories ,Lol.but I do have a couple of Roman coins I found at the Baalbek temples in the Biqa valley Lebanon the 60’s, The place where Armageddon will take place.. My buddy and I ran to save our hides in Beirut, wrong place, wrong time,, but for God...Well that’s another story,Lol.Found em in the dirt pathway beside this monolith, check out the people on top, how’s that for a preform,Lol.stay safe Fat.

That is neat. I have traded slot of other finds away too.
I have some turtle fossils that are neat to find and an adventure to dig but than it just trading stock.
