Is it a stack of stones, like one atop another? If so its possible its a cairn.. a direction marker.

yes. found it 20 ft on my pit. like this they are big, it's a layer. they are also so hard to remove.

Were there anymore within line of sight of that one? That would make it a cairn if you can see another one that's of the other one is still in good condition. Its a marker of some kind. Really have me wanting to see this, my curiosity is up.

if your in the phils and digging a pit..use extreme caution~!

The pits in the phils where done by Yamashi-ta
1. he used death traps with secret signs so no one could safely dig them up but him or his men
2. do a seach and read all you can before digging anymore,
3. read my threads here on yamashi-ta to lead more
4.at 20 feet you are about to hit hardened concrete which resists most steel drills
5.if you break the concrete, it is a plug...holding back the water table and or a water trap
6.the water trap can me made o clay pipe..from a nearby stream..the pipe is charged with water
