I found this copper plate yesterday, was about to toss it into my copper scrap bucket.... but I took a closer look, and I see faint writing on it!
Cleaned it up, and it looks like someone used it to practice their calligraphy and engraving skills.
Feel free to double click the images, you will find “Jimmy” mixed in on one side, and half the alphabet on the other.
Not a valuable find, but an awesome find nonetheless.

That's the type of find I consider very cool as it has that personal touch from it's owner. Very nice recovery and one I would hold onto.:headbang:
 

Very cool ! Congrats !!! Through the years I have found 3 such pieces,2 round , 1 rectangle. All are brass and have the town name,personal name,words,single letters etc.
