Well this afternoon was sunny again, but no where near as warm. Had a first though, in the shape of this nice Charles II silver three pence 1681. In over 30 years of detecting this is the first Charles II milled silver coin, I have ever found. Late in the four hour and by now cold session, a coin of Charles II father came to light. The coin is a shilling, of Charles I , very light and greenish, wonder if it could be a contempory forgery ?. All in all another good session. Robert.
