I guess if you look hard enough you can find some color in winter here in Iowa.This is a painting I did a few years back of a lone cardinal after a winter storm had passed through. Thanks for looking

Thankyou River,you are not alone in liking Cardinals. They are an especially beautiful bird. They really stand out against the white snow background. I have painted many paintings with them as the center of interest.

Thanks Wes,He does kind of look that way. This picture is a small part of a larger original. For some reason I only took a picture of part of the main painting. There was a farm in the background in the original. I sold it a long time ago,wish I would have made prints off it,but didn't.Now days a person can make Giclee prints at a fraction of the cost of what it use to, because you don't have large production cost of large print runs.
