I go from store to store in my line of work and average about five bucks a week just picking up coins in the parking lot!

I think I average far less than 5 bucks a week. However, I found a 1 oz silver necklace I pawned for 5 bucks a week ago. Looking on the ground can pay off.

It's amazing what you find if you just look on the ground. My 7 year old girl found more than three dollars in the Denver airport a few weeks ago, all in coin.

That is to funny!
We thought we were the only ones to hunt clad in the parking lots.
It is like a contest with us. We will all spread out in a parking lot to hunt for coins. Run over each other to get a penny. lol To date from January we have over $14 bucks in parking lot cash. Last year we had over $25.00 Used the found cash forfun lunch. Every time some one finds a coin we say "I'm a money magnet" out loud.
Hunt the 7/11s they always have coins in the lot.

It really is amazing how many coins are dropped in a parking lot and just left there. I pick up all I see, especially the paper ones.

Until my hands are repaired from surgery or something, that is my metal detecting. Every place I go I spend some time walking around picking up coin. Mostly pennies where so many peps just throw them away, but sometimes get lucky and get a shinier coin or 2.
