a wee bit of silver, I believe

Went digging in a friends yard and uncovered some trinkets. I think the baptismal piece is silver (it has STERLG printed on one side). Pretty neat. I'm pretty sure the ring is junk (I see some peeling taking place, no markings whatsoever).

Oh ya, silver! Congrats!
Those rings are heart breakers! You dig it up, get excited thinking "OH YEAH!" ....then you see the flaking or dark metal then it's "....oh.....yeah, darn!"
