A wheatie and a Merc. for a modest days work.....

got out today after work for only about an hr. i was hitting this older road that has produced barber dimes and IH before. Got two solid hits, one was a 1916 wheatie, the other was a 1944 Mercury dime, it was about 5 inches down strangly.

Great coins! I love seeing yet another Merc rescued from a life of obscurity in the dirt. They deserve better. My first Merc was a '44. Congrats!
