Spent an hour patrolling the edge of the soccer field where I figured most spectators would hang out.
This is a schoolyard down the block from me. Good amount of late model coins and then the happy surprise. I cut the square of sod , lifted it ,and there was a small semicircle of silver sticking out. Picked it out and returned the sod to its home. The ring markings say Sterling with a "C" in a circle next to it. The remaining shape is indecipherable to me.
