Ace 250 or Tesoro silver umax?

Hi,

I am sure you all get tired of these questions, sorry! I am just so excited about my first purchase!

I continue to back and forth between the 250 and the silver umax. I think either way I will have a great machine, I just want to hear from all of you with practical experience. Which do you prefer?

I will be using mine in Minnesota (woods, fields, parks) and we have a trip to Montana that I would like to be able to use the detector on.

hey there- i'm originally from mn (grand rapids) and i use an ace 250, which has factory presets that may cause you some problems if you're hunting up north where there is a lot of iron in the ground. i would go with the tesoro- heard it's a great machine. if you aren't in northern mn, i'd go with the ace. that's my 2 cents HH

I just decided to purchase the Tesoro from fllawboy here on this site. I might search up north too so may as well have one that works in both areas.

Cannot wait to get it!
