Hey all

I've been thinking of buying an ace 250 pro for me as i bought one for my son and usally beat me out with it and I own an way better garret maching. any feed back would be welcomed.

the 250 is a great machine but if you have a better GARRETT model, maybe its more in your technique than the machine? which GARRETT do you own?

How long you been detecting? I am picking up new techniques and learning more and more about my detector every time I go out... Maybe you just need more time....HH

Ok I have a GTI 2500 and I have been detecting for over 5 years I started out with a GTX450 But I must my wife wants my machine and I really don't want to give it up and I told her the ace 250 pro was the next best thing and if it works out like my son's ace 250 it should be a good machine.

I was thinking of buying the 2500 this spring
and selling my CZ
How has it been for you?
And how is the target size ID working?

maybe is the fact that your boy is just digging more targets than you are. he hears a beep he digs, you hear a beep you discrimate.......... just my 2 cents worth

while the ace 250 is a great machine, the gti 2500 is far superior! the problem is most definitly not your machine. could it be too much discrim? hunting too fast? not overlapping swings?or like was just mentioned,not digging enough targets? i know on my 2500 the target id section is so detailed that it kind of lulls you into believing it is telling the truth every time. sometimes its not!
