adventure & mystery.....
I've written a handful of articles for W& E Treasure Mag in recent years on a variety of subjects and techniques, but for me the real thrill of metal detecting resides in the overall adventure that the hobby provides me. It's often like stepping through a doorway that leads to past events, people, and forgotten eras. To hold in the hand something that was held in a different hand more then a hundred years ago is quite an enlightening experience. Kayaks, fly rods, camping gear, backpacks & daypacks, mask and snorkel, paints and canvas, wherever I go I always take my metal detectors and I always find time to use them. In my mind, metal detecting is perhaps the perfect outlet for the adventuresome spirit that inspires my every day. Visit my web-site and take a quick peek inside, drop me an e maybe we'll even cross paths someday? But above all, get out of the house and enjoy life at every chance. Good luck and be safe out there.
