adze is approx. 8" x 2.5" bottom was ground very flat! bowl was drilled, remainder of hole visible in side view near top, must have been for suspension?

Nice grooved adze. The bowl is cool too. My wife and I were out on mudflats on the bay one day, crowded with clammers, and there was an exposed hearth with the remains of a soapstone bowl with lug that I glued back together. About 1/3 the bowl along with a large section of the opposite rim.

Great artifacts. The adze is large! That bowl is my dream find.
