Went to the beach today. I found a nice slide, two bullets, $4.57 in clad and a $10, 2006, Kwacha Malawi coin. It's not in the best shape but it's cool. It's worth .03 American. So you could say I got Three cent piece. Lol. My wife got the find of the day. The gold butterfly with glass (?) Inset sparkles she got about six inches down on the path to the beach.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!!

Nice finds.

Need to break this to ya gently... but your 3 cents worth of kwacha hasn't seen that kind of value value since the Reserve Bank of Malawi devalued the the kwacha and unpegged it from the US dollar. It now floats and 10 kwacha is about 0.0134 USD. That's the bad news. The worse news is it's still falling.

Guess I found the coin of least value this year. There should be a prize for that.

Nice assortment of finds! :occasion14:

Nice variety of finds.

A cool find - looks like a "Bi-Metal" coin - like they use in Canada - congrats !

Over the years at times had more value than the green back. Though it has been floating in the lower to mid .70-.75 cent range.

Cool recovery.
Possible that someone tried to pass it off as a Twoonie.
