After 2800 Ikes I finally Found A................

1922s Peace dollar, WOO HOO. I had gone through $700, then 2- $1000 bags. The second handfull out and there was silver sandwiched between the clad. I have to go now, I have about $970 left to go through. Wish me luck.

I hope you find a Peace dollar too. And a Morgan too would just ice the cake. So now I have found 2 silver dollars CRHing. The other was an 1883 Morgan I picked up at a bank. I'll never forget the tellers words " I have a funny looking dollar"......LOL

It only took as long to go through a bag as a box. 1000 coins is a 1000 coins.

Except IKE's can be sold for more than face value. Not in huge quantities, but they still can be sold.

Thanks. $2700 might soun like alot but think about it. That's 2700 coins. There is what, 1000 coins in a box of halves. That like finding one good coin in 2.7 boxes. Read the posts. There ar epeople going through a lot more boxes than that and getting ZILTCH. Also, dollr coins are easy to roll. Turn in 10 ($20 rolls) and you have $200 back. It doesn't take to many dumps to get rid of a bag. End of story.
