Had a quick hunt after work. I found an old french button but 200 plus years of fertilizers took its toll. It was still a fun dig.I am trying to find coins from that era but so far I have only dug one. It is always good to get out. HH

The musket balls average 6 or seven inches.Alot of times less then that in the farm fields but most of the good stuff is ate up by the fertilizers

Nice finds Bman! Those quick after work hunts are great for the attitude! I did 2 this week and managed to get a 1750 copper, I'll post the finds when I can get the pics ready. HH and good you got out, Mike
