I went out with my dad after work, and we hit a few houses in a 1920s and 1930s neighborhood. We were finding nothing but clad, and lots of it. Not a single wheatie for me. He got just 1, a 1955.

We were about to give up when we said screw it lets go hit the park at the corner that we never tried before. It's been hunted a lot like all the other parks in my area, but I still found a silver ring and a cool brass valve of some sort. Hoping someone can help me date the thing!

Never underestimate the park nice ring...

nice silver ring

quality time with the old man is priceless,I usually hunt by myself, but there is no one I would rather go with then my dad.Nice ring!

I like the valve more than a ring..However, it looks more like an antique bung spigot than a valve imho

Sweet! Glad you had a fun day with your Dad, most important thing! Love the valve/spigot, cool find.

Congrats on the cool finds and quality time!

Oops I forgot I found this 1950s "Billy the Kid" lead toy
