Important message from an American soldier in Iraq

Good day,

My name is Sgt. Eric Richardson Frawley, I am an American soldier, I am serving in
the military of the 1st Armored Division in Iraq, as you know we are being
attacked by insurgents everyday and car bombs. We managed to move funds
belonging to Saddam Hussein's family in 2003. The total amount is US$25
Million dollars in cash, mostly 100 dollar bills, this money has been kept
somewhere outside Baghdad for sometime but with the proposed troop
reduction by president Obama, we are afraid that the money will be
discovered hence we want to move this money to you for safe keeping pending
the completion of our assignment here. You can go to this web link to read
about events that took place then via this site:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2988455.stm
We are ready to compensate you with good percentage of the funds, No strings
Attached, just for you to help us move it out of Iraq. Iraq is a war zone,so
we plan on using diplomatic means in shipping the money out as military
Cargo using diplomatic immunity. If you are interested I will send you the
Full details, my job is to find a good partner that we can trust and that
Will assist us. Can I trust you? When you receive this letter, kindly send
An e-mail to sgt.ericrichard1@hotmail.com signifying your interest including
Your most confidential telephone numbers for quick communication also your
Contact details.

This is risk free.

With regards from,

Sgt. Eric Richardson Frawley

THIS IS A SCAM!

Yep, I got that one too. I wish there was an easy way to go knock on these guys doors and see how they react to someone getting in their face and calling them on their bullsh!t.

In 2006 I was almost taken in.
Sounded legit.
Until I ran the guy's name.Popped up.
Scam artist.From Africa.
He sure got an eyeful of what I wrote ! >:(
Another came in a few months later.Deleted.
Last year, another one.Deleted.
Yes, too bad we can't take care of them here.Shark bait.

I doubt there are many on this site that would fall for this kind of crap, but amazingly there are suckers somewhere. If the scammers send out a billion e-mails and 10 people respond, it's a success. :-\

been around awhile

It's a shame it happens to begin with, but what's really a shame is there are people out there gullible enough to fall for it! ::)

LOL a good clue is him saying he's an American soldier yet signs at the bottom "with regards". That's what they use in many other countries, nobody in America writes that really. Well maybe someone who lives here now but was raised somewhere else I suppose. :-\

Hi Mia!

I close most my official military corrospondance with:

" Regards, "

And as far as I know never mixed up the "G" with the "T" close by on the keyboard.

LOL Jimmy, leave it to you to be unique. How ya doing anyway? :tongue3:

I am well.

And, I am tired...

And yesterday was mistaken for being gay... so I have that going for me.

But - my newest adventure will be ending eventually and it'll be "on to the next one".

You know what I mean. :icon_sunny:

I forward those to all my relative on my email list
maybe they will stop forwarding me those cute stories etc

the people who fall for these may be old,
but they are slightly shadey themselves

looking for something for free and
not worried if it may be illegal
in the first place.

I've been rewarded with untold millions from these so-called scams over the last dozen or so years. I simply give them my banking info and SS number, credit card number and pins and it's off to the races! Never been disappointed yet!

I can't believe the level of cynicism out there.

that even sounds like a scam. thanks for the warning
